The second race of the Short's Fat Bike Series hits Timber Ridge! One of the biggest ski races in the state is anchored by one of the coolest fat bike races around. Take on the wide-open miles of Timber Ridge, the fast singletrack of the Winter Sports Singletrack, and make your move on the Vasa 25km Pathway as you roar back to the Lodge.
Last year, the very Australian Justin Morris took the overall win for Einstein Racing, and setting a bit of an unofficial record in the process. We're pretty sure he's the only Australian ever to race in -22 degree weather! The race offers something for every type of rider, from beginner to expert.
The race is a wonderful celebration of winter sport in Northern Michigan, with skiers and fat bikers coming together to enjoy the snow, the crisp air, and the thrill of friendly competition in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
