In spite of our plans for world domination, at present, we find ourselves restricted somewhat by floor space. When we run out of room on the sales floor, we rotate bikes by season, brand, use, simple whim....and we take the extras to Lowetz's garage. Only a few brave souls have ventured into that land and returned to tell the tale.
Our Garage Sale is the culmination of a lot of hard work, exploration and excavation in that forlorn place. Buried under piles of fake wigs, microphone stands, capes, and innumerable things of ill description, we found a treasure trove of brand-new bikes from 2013 and 2014 rotated to Corporate and never returned. Oh the stories they could tell, if they were sentient beings....
We have a full list of the available bikes ready to find new homes. Most have never had a leg thrown over them, some have never even had pedals installed yet. Still others found brief freedom as one-off rentals, employee bikes, or enjoyed other stints in the wild before being tuned-up and tucked in from wild.
A few of these bikes deserve mention, as well as a few other things we found.
2014 Surly Krampus. We ordered two size runs and used one as a rental fleet and the other for retail. It didn't take long for people to realize the Krampus is a killer Vasa and Iceman bike. 29+ means big wheels, 3" tires and no more annoying sand pits to slow you down. Easily one of the most fun bikes to ride, and a really thrill in the singletrack. Retail: $1950 Sale: $1267
