The Coffee Ride: Getting 'Cross At Crop Circle Cross

10592758_10152199075606685_3411508554438053772_n It's hard to say how many conversations we've started with the phrase, "The thing about cyclocross is...", but it's a lot. Once you give it a try, though, you'll get it.

Ec is pairing up with Tri Again Fitness for Crop Circle Cross, a free, relaxed race to give people a chance to experience 'cross, get a feel for it, and basically check out the vibe. Like all great things, it revolved about fun, inclusiveness and homemade baked goods, and we're bringing all of that to September 28's event.

Perhaps the best part is that it's free. That's right, free. Show up. On any bike. And ride it. We'll have two races, an "A-Lien" race that is 40 minutes long, with a 20 minute "UFO" race open to everyone. Feel free to race one, race the other, or race both. Winners from each race will receive a tin foil hat/crown for their efforts.

The course is in the backyard of Tri Again Fitness, a UCI legal course that's tough, fun and a great challenge. Tony V is also a grill master, so you're sure to have a darn good meal after your darn hard race. You'll also get to rub elbows with some of the coolest cyclists from TC, get to know some people you didn't, and take advantage of a crop circle, just for fun.

You can RSVP here.  Or, just swing by 2475 Long Lake Road at 5.30 for a great time, a great race, and a lot of great food!
