There is a collective deep breath in the days after the Iceman Cometh, and too often bikes already covered in mud gather a layer of dust, too. Instead of putting the bike away, consider joining us for some rides with a different flavor...and a lot of flavor.
Our Friday Night Lights ride is a pretty special deal. There's no racing, no hard tempo or elbow throwing...it's a nocturnal adventure, with a different feel and route, especially from now until the snow falls. We'll see all sorts of riders with lights, different bikes, but with a uniform sense of adventure.
The ride is only half the fun. Afterwards, everyone gathers for a potluck with some great dishes to pass. If there's no competition on the trail, there's a bit of glory to be won with an especially good salsa dip, vegetarian burrito or something of the sort we have tried yet. It's great way to meet more people in the cycling community, learn something new or experience the Vasa and singletrack in a whole new way.
The first week will be lead by service manager Dan Curnayn. Adventurer, lover, and outdoorsman, Dan brings years of neature experience and an awesome attitude to the ride. It'll also be his first Friday Night Lights after joining the shop this summer. It's going to be an awful lot of fun.
