Join us at the shop at 9am for coffee and pastries, and enjoy the race on the big screen. We'll relax in the lounge for the race before hitting the gravel roads for a ride of our own.
Paris-Roubaix is a massive test for even the best racers in the world, and it's 21 secteurs of cobbles are patches of truly hallowed ground. The locals have even organized work crews to maintain the pave, and the race organization even rotates some sections to make sure they aren't ruined. Cars aren't allowed on these sections either, aside from race support cars just one day a year.
The course is mostly flat, and the action comes on the cobblestones. The wear and tear of over 200km and long stretches of rough road take their tolls, with crashes, tons of punctures, and dramatic breakaways trying to claw themselves up the road.
The ride we'll take on includes four of the soon-to-be-famous secteurs that feature on our weekly gravel ride, There Will Be Fun and Blood.
